rekoop® Digital Footprint is the new way to capture time passively or proactively. It monitors activity on the desktop and records the time you spend using your applications.
rekoop digital footprint has two ways to capture time;
This prompts the user as soon as an event has finished for example when an email has been sent, or when a MS Word document is saved and closed (see below screenshot). This allows the user to manually validate and record their time instantly whilst assigning it to a chosen client. As the prompt shows the user has 3 choices;
This setting will not display any prompt and will instead write all of the event information captured for that user to the rekoop database for onward manipulation through the rekoop desktop interface.
The ‘active’ or ‘passive’ setting can be configured and changed on a per user basis. This provides a great deal of flexibility as some teams or users may wish to be prompted to assign and collate a more detailed real time view and other teams or users want it to run in the background and will be happy to review the output later and may even have clerical support to assist in assigning client types etc.
Rekoop DF is intelligent enough to remember if an event type was assigned to a client before and will suggest the use of that client again as default. For example, if a word document was tagged with ‘Tesco’ as the client, rekoop will remember and attempt to auto populate the data.
The rekoop desktop interface also allows users to merge, delete time entries and generally manage the captured events to accurately reflect their working day.
